Tesla has a higher change of filing BK vs. this truck ever being built. We're still waiting for the Semi, Roadster and the Model Y.

We're at the tail end of the roaring 20's so circle your wagons. A lot of dumb money out there chasing dumb shit.

It's time to search and either create a company or invest in the industry of retrofitting of gas stations etc. to recharging stations . It will happen . Gas will not become cheaper because it will become less available with less demand. Gas stations will not have enough parking space for cars to charge , but they are already there . I predict the failing shopping malls and their huge parking lots will be fitted with charging ports for every car. People will be able to shop , eat and be entertained in a mall and kill the time it takes to charge the car. Mall roofs can be covered with solar panels to provide at least a portion of the charging energy needed . Ah , the future is coming ! At least for the big cities .......

Humans will soon learn that even electrics come with their own problems and that the earth only has so much in the way of resources to allocate to the mission. I'm not saying this as a pro ICE wanker, but nothing we do is truly sustainable for modern living. A perfect example is buys a 3000 sq foot house for two people and uses a shit load or resources to build, heat, cool, and entertain themselves in it and yet thinks putting a Tesla and some solar panels on the roof negates the impact. Just as UPS rolls up with more packages from Chewy and Amazon.

Once fully autonomous vehicles come online, the whole concept of private citizens owning vehicles will be reserved for the 1%, and everyone else will be transported by car service.

No worries about charging then, since the vehicle will drive itself back to some remote place for charging and maintenance.

This is the real future imo.

Rural living will become prohibitively expensive.

Speaking of Canadian bands, this song comes to mind.

Long live rural living ! I want to be grandfathered in , and someone has to live out here to watch out for the chinese parachuters from space when everyone else is in NY and LA .
I do believe you are more correct on it than I am though . There is much more control over people when mobility is controlled . I think I am old enough to no longer care when it is the norm , and plan to stay rural as long as I am able .

I am right behind you, placed my reservation yesterday.

A lot a people are asking why the Cybertruck is so angular. The simple truth is that the ultra hard 30x stainless steel will break a stamping press. It can’t be stamped like regular sheet metal so Tesla designers hands were tied so to speak.

I was luke-warm on the Rivian, but it’s smokin’ hot looking now.

I’d take the Tesla exactly as it is; but sadly, two years and street legal reality is probably going to push it closer to that Rivian. Bummers

Clearly, satisfying his woman consists of funding shopping sprees at the Canadian department stores with his well-earned wages. Nothing else makes sense.
