Maner hit it on the head 88 cubic yard bucket. Hangs on one of these to remove over burden from coal. 8E53E530-872A-4A28-A5CE-6275EF19A340.jpg

    This is most people’s reaction.

Just for reference the one in the video is 270’ at the boom tip to the ground. We do a weekly inspection of the entire boom. No need for leg day at the gym after you climb both sides of it.

Who's the laptop expert here? Got some shopping to do and just want to buy once.

These are the latest minimum requirements needed to run Fusion 360:

I'm good with using windows 10 machines. No apple experience at all, so leave them out.

    Apple Mac® OS® X Yosemite (10.10.5), OS® X El Capitan (10.11.x), OS® X Sierra (10.12.x)

    Microsoft® Windows® 7 SP1 or Microsoft® Windows® 8.1, Windows® 10

CPU: 64-bit processor (32-bit not supported)

Memory: 3GB RAM (4GB or more recommended)

An internet connection of 5mbits/s or faster (10mbits/s recommended for Simulation Solves)

    Disk space: ~3.5GB

Graphics Card: 512MB GDDR RAM or more, except Intel GMA X3100 cards

Pointing device: Microsoft-compliant mouse, Apple Mouse, Magic Mouse, MacBook Pro Trackpad

    Good luck with your shopping!
Help me out and I can be the holiday whipping boy!

Just bought one a little while ago. Got the guys from the PC builders thread to give me the Nod before I pulled the trigger. Really happy with the purchase.

That's a last resort. I was hoping to avoid another thread (rabbit hole) to fall into.

Can tell you my MacBook from 2011 will still run that easily. They cost more but you get your money’s worth in longevity.

How much are you looking to spend? And how portable/lightweight do you need it to be?

The lighter the better, since it's going where I go.

<$400 would be nice, if it's possible to find what I want for that.

Not sure if <$400 is possible but this one is pretty close and should be able to handle Fusion 360. Already on sale for $449.99 at Best Buy.

    I'm not familiar with Fusion 360 Give it a look over/get a second opinion. @medic2230 ?

I've gotta head out to beer league here in a few. I'll look some more when I get back/tonight to see if I can find anything else.
