Mine runs across our pillows between 4-5 am. He’ll keep doing it until we lock him out or one of us gets up. The last two times my wife got up with him, he waits for her to fall asleep on the couch, then comes and steals her spot on the bed where he sleeps until 8 or so.

 

Marty knows how to relax.

Hey @lil_buddy. Not great. Dropped Louie off at the shelter yesterday (previously scheduled vet visit), but they’ll be finding another foster home for him.

Things went downhill Saturday evening. Noticed him about to use the carpet despite being right next to a second litter box I put out. Went to grab him before he could do his business, but didn’t quite catch him in time. Attempted to snag him as ran past me, but only caught the back half him. He freaked out. I freaked out. He ran into the kitchen, jumped onto the counter, knocked some dishes down, some of them breaking. He freaked out even more, finally running into his crate in the bathroom. Stayed there until I took him back to the shelter at 5pm Sunday.

He was extremely stressed out. I feel awful about the whole thing. Thankfully, folks at the shelter were very understanding as not all foster situations work out. Just hope that he gets a chance to make some progress at his next home. He really is a very affectionate cat when he feels comfortable. Sorry for the novel.

At least Ollie sees the others getting along with Marty. Possibly Ollie isn’t into Marty’s kitten exuberance and will get along better with him when that wears off. Standoffishness is way better then a lot of other behavioral problems you could have introducing a new cat into the group.

As for my Marty - bagged up and ready to go.

 

OMG husband told me this just yesterday. He was woke up by relentless mewing, thinking one got locked in a room we had been in down stairs.

opens door to check, cat bolts IN the room and he then has to herd her out. No other cat was found, locked in, out or otherwise. Some one was just wanting attention. I guess.

 

Sister and brother. She detests him. Seems she sets aside her hatred when it’s too cool inside the house and she wants to be warm..,

 

Cute as a couple bugs. So odd our brother and sister love each other. Worst case they kinda ignore the other.

 

Auggie & Ponce were brother & sister and were inseparable for the most part. Pretty sure she misses him as much as we do...

 

4 cats total. (And there’s been 2 others and a dog that have gone ahead). She gets/got along with the others for the most part. But she hisses at him if they are in the same room, if he looks at her or even thinks of coming near...

And then today... this. He was on the chair first. So she knowingly got up there with him.
