They were using LineX 3 years ago when I talked to Brian. They could of switched vendors by now. Most likely switched due to being cheaper.

I'll definitely look into the Lagun option. I think that will be the best option because it's not permanently fixed. Just need that base plate.

And yeah, homemade GG for the win. And for less than $100 in my driveway.

    Well done!
That is bitchen. How many times did you measure before ordering? I admit it is a pain in the ass designing/measuring but doing it yourself (kinda) is much better. I don't have the right saw to cut perfect aluminum extrusion pieces so when I do it in the future it will be lot's of measuring. My current wooden platform/drawer came out pretty nice.

@ETAV8R - Mine is actually made out of steel tubing. I went the cheaper route so I could "test the waters". I wanted to make sure I liked the design, flow, height, etc., before committing to pricey aluminum. Glad I did it that way because I'm already re-designing the entire buildout. But now I have base measurements that I know work.

This is almost exactly what I'm thinking of doing in mine, just on the opposite side and aluminum instead of steel. Any reason you went with a full baseplate instead of just the part under your bench? I'm thinking that having 3/4's of the bed covered in a base plate I'm not going to use will be a lot of unnecessary weight.

I'll eventually be building out the other side as well, so a full base was always the plan. Plus it's insulated underneath.

Any ideas for this? It happens on all four windows.

Nope. You'll either need gutters, a wider truck, or park on an incline with the front end higher than the rear.

I have the same problem that one side of my truck has icicles dripping down and coating one side with ice.

When I picked up my drifter Phil showed me a magnetic insulated panel for the rear window and said someone was also looking to make something similar for the FrontRunner doors. Does anyone know where I can get more info on those?

Also, has anyone had issues with the FrontRunner door latches sticking? I'm not sure if it was just the cold but one of my latches would not pop out when I pushed the button. It seems to be working ok now, but I could not get it open without using something to gently pry the latch out.

I'd guess he's talking about Strawfoot. Garrett was lucky enough to get a Drifter before me, so here at Nightfall Overland we're still waiting until I get one (soon!) to build prototypes for window covers, screens, etc. But we will be offering them eventually, at a price point that's more than fair! :)

I think I've seen someone else complain about frozen FR latches...

The window covers I've seen were from Strawfoot.

Cool. I'll keep an eye out after I pick mine up.

I think I heard of a FR window getting stuck during the winter when it had snow and whatnot on it.

@SoCalTacoTruck That is the kit I have on my taco. I don't have the Vagabond yet (January/February timeframe), but sounds like that is a common setup they install on there. It has worked well for me and they have great customer support. Keep an eye on Amazon for that kit too, I have been able to grab some good deals on their stuff.
