We'll just blame TW for screwing up the quotes and the reply to quotes. Lol.

Pretty sure the hp tuner can’t get rid of those emissions codes. If it can, then I missed it when I checked since my truck will throw those every once in a while.

Hmmmmmm. May need to add this to the list of things I was going to talk to you about soon. Was gonna do a bit of logging in the next week or two and send to you anyways since I got the truck back together and my intake setup changed a little. Figured it couldn’t hurt to check on things with the changes and bigger tires to see if it warranted any tuning tweaks

Is anybody using speedhut gauges in a flexpod? Or any flexpod experience in general? If I lose tilting capability I'm afraid my legs won't fit in the truck. @Norton I like your pillar mount but do not want to take the risk with airbags. What are your thoughts?

This morning while putting the supercharger through its usual aggressive paces, the truck lost significant power under boost and began running extremely rough, having difficulty maintaining speed. It felt as though I had lost multiple cylinders. Check engine and trac lights came on. I limped the truck to the side of the highway to pull codes from my onboard reader. The truck had a very poor idle so I tuned it off. It looks like I threw a P1605 - Rough idle, and a P0300 - Random/multiple cylinder misfire. After sitting for a few minutes I restarted the truck and it runs fine.

My current setup is pulleyboys 2.7 pulley, AFE Magnum intake, 255 lph Deatschwerks fuel pump, TRD tune and TRD injectors.

I’ve been running this setup for quite a while now with no issues what so ever.

Any thoughts? Have others experienced something similar?

Man....this makes a little nervous. I have the same setup pretty much as you....except a custom ov tune for a 2.7 and related goodies. How long have you been running your setup?

I would really like to see fuel trims..

Also, this is really stupid to ask (but I have to) but is your oil and coolant okay?

If you have access to it, I'd like to see your freeze data info.

Part of me wonders if the issue stemmed from an aggressive WOT run which may had topped out your MAF. One thing I have learned about Toyota over the years is that codes triggered are not an immediate indication of where the problem is, more of a symptom of a subsequent issue of what actually happened.

    How many miles on it?

My 2cents. Do a compression test at top dead center it’ll tell you if you have a leak in the system, hope not into your crankcase. If you want to get fancy do a leak down test. I think every tacoma owner should own a compression test kit. Takes a littler longer than changing out the spark plugs, so not that bad

I have no Flexpod experience, but based on the way the Lotek Pillar Pod is constructed/mounted, the risk appears minimal to me (and a number of others). IIRC, @Roostfactor, @JuanitoBunito, @White lightning boosted, @BassAckwards, @Athlaos, @rjbiii, and @Braunschwaga run similar setups. Hopefully, they'll chime-in with their thoughts as well.

One thing to note is the fact that fitment and color match for post-2009 MYs are CLOSE, but NOT EXACT. Some have to adjust fitment a little with a Dremel, others report not having to do so. Obviously, YMMV.

i am running the lotek a-pillar mount and the flexpods by my steering wheel. I havent lost any adjustability on the steering wheel as far as i know. The Lotek is a nice option too, fitment isnt perfect, but it was pretty good on mine. The gray is a close enough match for my OCD to be happy. Did take a little sanding to get the gauges to fit in the Lotek mount properly. The Flexpod was a drop in and go except i needed washers to keep my steering wheel from rubbing the gauge faces while turning the wheel

Here's a pic of my setup
