I believe they don't make it anymore, but I think its the same idea. From what I understand (I could be totally wrong), is that they used to make something similar to it but it came welded. Now they only have the unwelded model of it.

Again, I could be totally wrong.

I think you are right, just curious. So yours is welded? Have any pics without the tent?

Perfectly executed lackluster multi-quote noob attempt! Been away for almost a week between work travel, last of the baby preps and what not...but I finally got with my neighbor to do the F&R diff and T-case oil changes...damn if the rear appeared unused, decent magnet catch with some large shavings with cluster of "glitter" metal shavings...the front came out super milky (I guess some water got in there?); T-Case seemed "used", also drained about 2.5qts of ATF and retopped off, and of course the MAJOR mod and of course HP+ is chopped the exhaust off after the axle.

Only found the very front "drive shaft" zerk for regreasing...couldn't find a zerk on the one near T-case, but will review it when I do my oil change in ~1500 mi. (we had the truck up on the lift and rotated the u-joint 360 and didn't see signs of a grease zerk).

Sitting in a brewery in NC last night and the wife showed me this from your IG and asked what you had done then pointed to your fridge asking what that was. When I said it was a fridge she said “Oh!! So we could keep beer in it while on the cruise?” Since we had just talked about how we can get any of the beer to go from there and keep it cold while on our cruise.

So I explained “Yes. If I had the fridge, dual batteries and solar, I could do that.”

Off Grid Engineering is doing a Black Friday sale in their dual battery set up BTW.

Guys - I have a shop near my house a buddy referred me to (Honest Toms Auto Care in Sterling). They have quoted me $1850 for a 2" lift, including Bilstein 1500's, OME Springs, and an Icon AAL, install & alignment included in the cost.

Is there anything I should make sure they do? He said the UCA isn't necessary, he can get the alignment done without it, and I don't do enough wheeling where it would be necessary. Also, is the Icon AAL better than the Deaver ALL?

Early Christmas Gift to myself :anonymous:

Edit: And yes, I should install myself, but I have zero experience doing one and my apartment complex doesn't allow work like that on the vehicle. So I can drop off the truck, and pick it up whenever it's done and just uber around for a day or so while they work on the truck.

What doe the parts alone cost? I'm sure there are tons of guys in the area that would help.

I have a garage that can can be made available for an install. Several members would likely be willing to assist.

Actually, I provided them the Headstrong Bilstein package as reference for what I was looking to get accomplished. Shipped from them, I'd be looking at $900. So using that logic, $1,000 for install + alignment. I don't mind spending a little more. Guess I was more so curious if I need to make sure I am not missing anything for the install.
