My grandpa owned a tire shop and he used to repair wheels for a premium, lots of collector wheels that aren't replaceable would get cracked and curbed

thank you for the knowledge, I was actually unaware however dumb that sounds lol. I've had Progresso's and others clam chowder with no issues, this was the first Campbell's. Wondering if correlation= causation, but it generally does not :(:( Duly noted though, and now avoiding for the time being

Ana texted me good morning, as she does every morning since she likes to remind me that she's thinking of me.

The selfie that followed up afterward left me like "g'damn she's beautiful"

I've hung out more with Maribel and Rachelle lately than I ever have with Ana yet she's the one being the most patient with me lol

If Cambell's clam chowder does not, in fact, use real clams in their 'clam chowder'....and whatever they do use made you violently ill the next day...why would you ever entertain the thought of eating that stuff again lol

Real clam chowder is delicious though, especially in a sourdough bread bowl

I may have been there....we've been to the marina/wharf several times since my mom doesn't live too far away from there, have definitely had some good chowder from a few places in the area

I admit I used to eat those Campbells and Progressive soups too (even the clam chowder ones) but I rarely eat them any more because they pack like 3 days worth of sodium into those cans - definitely not good for you, but on the flip side that's why they last so long and make for good bomb shelter provisions lol.

Has to be Monterey cause Marina has shopping centers just shy of the beach.

You've got Bubba Gump, Fisherman's Grotto, and several other places to eat but the Fish Hopper is one of the fancier ones.

I remember meeting a friend there to eat and telling him "let's order the $6k bottle of Red Eagle" (it was his turn to pay)

Oh yeah I definitely mean the Monterey part of town, not Marina...Marina is kind of like where the ghetto meets the sea lol. I mean the part of Monterey where the aquarium is and all of that

Shellfish harvesting here is heavily monitored and enforced. Areas of harvest are regularly tested and some get closed due to dangerous bacteria or pollution. However, Welk harvesting is not regulated like Clams or Oysters and Campbell's is THE buyer. Always read the ingredients.
