I'm installing mine in a week. Instead of buying a new Part# 55434-04070-CO Panel, I'm going to eliminate the wireless charging pad button, and use the empty slot next to it for the two slots that I need. The wireless charger sucks and a lot of people have overheating issues with it anyway.

You do you, but I like the Qi charger. Through 3 phones I have never had an issue. Actually the only issue I have is that I forget my phone in my truck a lot because I don't see it.

I have the round switches as shown in several of the responses. Would it be possible to drill a hole in the blanks in the 6-bank panel and feed the switch with short pigtail in from the front without taking the center console out and dash apart? It might not look the greatest having a round switch mounted in the rectangle blank cover, but if I ever needed to I could just purchase new blanks and there would be no permanent holes anywhere.

When I attempted mine I couldn't get the seats unplugged from the factory harness. It felt like I was going to break the plugs

Did you take apart the dash for this? Or were you able to just drill the slots and feed the wires to it?

I took out the seats, the console and lower parts of the dashboard. You may be able to drill and fish the wiring, I wanted to secure the wiring and do a clean install.

Did you install the heated seat kit under the leather seat covers only or did you take the original fabric off the seats as well and put it under that? Also, do you consider your clazzio covers permanant such that they dont really shift around over time from going in and out or do you have to readjust them over time. Thinking of going with the same setup as yours so just hoping for the clarification.

I installed them directly on the factory seat covers and they were peel.and place. Yes my Clazzios are considered permanent, they don't move around. When I installed them I took the front seats out as I had to for the wiring harness for the heated seats. I got them really tight, been on for a few years I guess and no issues. Seats still look like new, the seat kit is great and it all looks OEM. I get compliments all the time from the service advisor and the mechanics. In fact I have them calling me about my seat covers and the heated seat kits and switches. They have done a few new Tacomas. Hope this helps and if you need anything send me a PM and we can talk. Good luck.

I really like that set up. I have other switches installed on the front panel (USB for camera & per for radar detector) so those switches in those locations are perfect. Nice job.
