Glad she is ok. The other persons ins will get her a new IS.. I think it only takes about 10 lbs to activate the airbag sensor.

glad she's ok...I've had family members that weren't so lucky. I wouldn't hesitate to go after their asses...I have zero sympathy for someone who runs stop signs/traffic lights.

Ouch!! Sorry about her car, but it can be replaced. Glad she came through unscathed.

Looks totaled to me. Keep us posted on what the insurance says. I wouldn't want it back if they fixed it. Safety issue and the cat won't purrrr the same if you know what I mean.

Dang you guys put some miles on that thing. Was it bought brand new? Yea that would suck if it was just newly paid off and something like this happens.

Insurance company will do a comp on price around the area for the exact same vehicle and will base their price on that with bluebook. They did the same when one of my car was totaled. Not a great area I might add. More chances of people around there not having insurance. I was working around that area awhile back and people were dealing drugs right in front me. ( MLK and California)Which I don't really care anyway.

actually the insurance company doesnt use bluebook for some reason, they said they are not aloud too, they look at sale prices of the same year of car and try to get the best estemate they can on what those cars are selling for and thats what they base it on, its weird. Well that area gets a lot worse rep than it actually is now, my mom loves working over there, haha on the other hand a few months ago i went on a ride along with my dad and we went to the neighborhood across the street and some little kid like age 3 was throwing gang signs at us (we were in a cop car) lol
