"Lock" for floor mat not on passenger side?

I thought most vehicles that had a locking mechanism on one floor mat would have one on the other but I don't have one on the passenger side of my Taco. Apparently, every passenger I have in my truck has a restless feet because that floor mat is always moved all around whenever I go back through cleaning and stuff. Has anyone found a good solution for this? I have the stock plastic ones - not fabric.

I thought the locking floor mat was because old people claimed the mats slid under the pedals causing car accidents etc.

Replace them with weathertech or similar that stay in place.

Speaking of the 2018 and up locks, one of mine is missing. Does anyone know where to find the screw part of the system?

You can go to the dealership and ask. Theyll probably have them in stock there and it can't be more than a buck.

You're in the 3rd gen section in case you came here from the homepage. But Toyota "forgot" to put these on the 16-17 year model Tacomas.

+ 1 for the eagle klaw. took less than 5 minutes to put them in the 2016 passenger side.

    https://eagleklaw.com/products/eagle-klaw-floor-mat-retainer-kit

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-lis...r_name=0&mv_size_name=1&qid=1574726324&sr=8-1

pay the extra buck for the cutter. It's well worth it. 1 whack with a rubber mallet and a few turns left a clean perfect hole and made the installation that much easier. It's much more robust than the 3/8 inch punch I have for grommets, so it's well worth it.

I think we went through Amazon instead of eagle klaw because we saved a few bucks on shipping. FYI, the product is Eagle KLAW. Eagle Claw is a fishing hook company (in case you want to google for reviews).

From some fastener under the hood or a body panel, I have a pile of them.
