Made my own roof rack with TRD LED backlight light panels and a custom fit to my light bar. Ambers on the roof rack and the light bar are wired into the turn signal and run as running lights at the same time. Thinking about selling these racks if there's enough interest.

Just curious, did you have to do any trimming with those wheels on that particular lift? How much did you get in the front and rear? Also where did you purchase your TRD badge? I like the Black and silver look. Thats what im looking for, for my truck. Thanks in advance.

Painted my fog lights yellow, added nice flag stickers (thanks @stickerhi) and replaced the stock dash tweeters with Suburu tweeters per nearly everyone’s suggestion here. I forgot to take before/after photos of the lights so I made sure to do that with the speakers

 

I got mine from overlanddepot.com then took the letters off and painted them.

No trimming or rubbing, but I did have to raise my bilsteins up a notch and get a "custom alignment" if you will to adjust the caster away from the fender. Never had rubbing on the cab mount. These wheels do have a -10 offset btw.

This can’t be a real thing, is this a theory like perpetual motion? I even looked up the definition of “finish” and can’t see any way that it applies here.

You sir, must explain this to us. I don’t think my lack of understanding is in the minority here.

Hmmmm.... Anodized coating on plastic lenses? Making a note to request pics in 6 mths. Great mod of it works. I fear is going to crinkle.

Welcome to the forum from Eastern North Carolina. The OEM wheels look great on a silver SR5.

 

finished up a project i've been wanting to do for a year or so. switching out the cheap trailer license plate light that came with my steel bumper to a mo bettah one. i didn't want to splice into the wiring so for the longest time i just had the ends of the bare wires shoved into the connectors for one of the lights. worked ok for a tweaker fix, but i would have to shove the wires back in every once in a while, and then there's the risk of a short from having bare wires dangling/getting wet.



i have always wanted to try and get a new oem plug and wire the light to that, but then it dawned on me to us a t10 connector and just plug it in like a bulb. instead of ordering them, i separated the base from my old led license plate light, which was surprisingly easy. stripped the wires, threw some solder on them to make them a bit stiffer, shoved them in, wrapped them around, and filled the base with black epoxy.



fits into the plug perfectly and threw some electrical tape over it because i didn't have any shrink wrap big enough



looks really good after i painted the chrome flat black. may play around with putting a red ring around the base



throws a lot of light, probably because it's designed to face down, so i angled it a bit and it works nicely
