    Glad to hear it buddy. Ya I'm supercharged, running tons of boost and many other power mods.I don't expect everyone to gain 20 but gains should still happen. Before the gears I never broke 350g/s. I've since logged 368g/s several times but haven't broke 370... Yet. Pic attached is 364g/s but only ran it up to 5700rpm.

    So simple equation will tell you how much power those cam gears have made. @Roostfactor, what was that MAF number multiplied by? 1.15? Something like that?

    That's around 23 HP. We'll see what the number is when Roost or someone else chimes is.

    That's the multiplier I have always used on these trucks. That's crank hp I do believe

    It I at the crank, but still just as worthy a gain. ~20 HP is 20 HP.

    So from what I can tell this is fine for a bone stock 2012 ? I'm currently getting 13-14mpg with stock tires lol and would love to not get that.

    Absolutely ok on a stock motor. Mine is all stock and made a huge difference. Still on my first fill up after install, but mileage is obviously better, just not sure how much better.

    Genuine question to everyone I've sold gears to that has installed them- Has anyone gotten less than a 1mpg gain by installing these?

    My butt dyno cant really feel any difference and I haven't gone through a full tank yet to calculate any economy benefits but I'm one step closer to bolting on my supercharger:thumbsup:

    Shouldn't matter. The way the timing advance / retard takes place is simply over time when conditions are met. (You have to be steady within an rpm and load range for at least 3.01 seconds before it will start to "trim up" timing within that area of the map).

    Unfortunately that leads to a seat of the pants dyno that gets used to the change over time thus likely not noticing it untill say quantitative data comes in (logging of higher maf numbers, better mpg figures etc)

    I got these beautiful cam gears sitting in my toolbox .... Just waiting for the time to actually install them... I'm thinking over my Xmas break.

    Good to know but I honestly didnt do the install for anything other than a prerequisite for installing the rotrex supercharger. Im sure a tune would maximize the benefits on an N/A setup

    You should have no issue installing these over the holidays. All you need is some shade, a six-pack and about 2-3 hours to get this done no sweat

    I can't keep my foot out of it enough to tell if there is any improved mileage, but it definitely runs better after putting a few miles on it.
