    piddly stuff
    They don't need to be. That is the purpose of the side shooters they project to the side even when your lights are pretty much strait ahead. Mine are only pointed out slightly and illuminate my full peripheral and strait ahead. I added 2 more in the grill just to help with the slight gap in the middle.

    I took them out the night before I installed them and hooked them up to a Ryobi 18v battery and was pretty impressed. They’re wired into my high beam circuit to help spot deer before the deer meets my truck!

    That is my primary usage on the back roads. 9w to the side and 18w forward they are really bright.

    I know I might get grief for this but these chinese light bars are pretty good for the price. The mounts cost double the bar. But overall, the whole thing cost me like 80-90 bucks. And with the money I saved I can buy like 10 of these when this one breaks for the same price of a rigid. Now to get some LED head light bulbs.
