    I decided to share this with ya'll because .... well, I haven't seen anybody do this as yet. :eek:

    I de-badged the tailgate on my '06 completely and then got a 1st Gen. "TOYOTA" badge from one of the local dealers and put it on the 'gate by itself. I think it looks rather classy -- kind of a tribute to tailgates past. :rolleyes:

    My favorite tailgate is still the one they had before it was all smoothed out. 3/4 was recessed and TOYOTA was in really big letters right in the middle.

    I also like the grill before they started with the Toyota logo - when it just said TOYOTA. Kinda like the FJ is now, only better... :)
