My first Tacoma

Greetings!

I'm new to the forum and I just ordered a 2020 Tacoma TRD OffRoad, my very first Toyota. I've owned several trucks both midsize and fullsize, but never a Tacoma. I always thought they were overpriced, but after having terrible experiences with my last 2 trucks, a Colorado LS and a Frontier Pro4x, and considering the relatively strong reputation and reliability of the Tacoma, I decided to give one a try. I hope this will be the last truck I ever buy, but I'm VERY hard to please, so we'll see.

I ordered mine with the 6ft bed, technology package (blind spot monitoring, parking sensors), LED lighting, TRD premium package (dual-zone climate control, sunroof, leather seats, JBL stereo, navigation). I'd much rather have the cement colored cloth seats than leather, but if you want the other options in the package they force leather on you, which really ticks me off, but it is what it is. I also ordered a few accessories, all weather floor liners, door sill protectors, mudguards, black out package. I've never had a loaded truck, so I got quite a few options. I commute 2 hours per day, so I want a comfortable vehicle to pass the time in. It was VERY expensive but, again, I hope this will be my last truck.

UPDATE:
I actually wound up canceling my order, which was taking forever, because I found a truck in inventory that was pretty close to what I wanted. I had to fight with the dealer to get my deposit back, even though they said it was fully refundable, but I ultimately got it back. The truck I purchased was a loaded DCLB OR in MGM, not my first color choice, but it's in my top 3, so I'm happy with it. I do have some vibration issues with the truck, but after taking it in several times and having a Toyota field tech evaluate it, they're not going to do squat about it. I'm kind of pissed about that, but I do like the truck overall and I'm looking forward to customizing it and, eventually, getting a FourWheel camper for it so I can do some self-contained travel and offroad camping.

I forgot to mention that the dealership told me it'll probably take more than 3 months to get my truck Apparently this is a busy time of year for special orders.
