    I had this happen in a nursing home and I must have been beet red. This old gal was telling me how much I looked like her husband and that I was very handsome. The nurse walking with her thought it was funny.

    My wife used to work in a retirement community that also had a large assisted living unit. That unit had three floors. One morning my wife gets her med cart, gets on the elevator, looking over her clipboard to see what happened overnight, gets to the 3rd floor, door opens, there stands her favorite resident wearing nothing but socks and big smile. Mind you this resident is in her late 80's. My wife said she just wanted the doors to close, ride back down and come home.


    And.......... 'Morning 'Evers!!

    There's one old folks' home I deliver to that has a "Memory" floor.
    That's code for Alzheimers.
    Top floor, door to stairwell and elevator are code entry, false alarms going off now and then.
    Can't have any escapees running around. :rolleyes:

    Anyway, if there are meds for anyone on the top floor, I gotta go there myself...
    ...instead of getting the sign-off at the Wellness Office.
    And deliver to the head nurse there personally.

    I was startled the first time some blue hair gal grabbed my ass.
    And yeah, the nurses and aides thought my reaction was hilarious. :rofl:
