No, one pipe after the collector into the single cat, I did a cat back 15 years ago and that section is a little larger but don’t remember what size right now with a larger tip

The dual cats need to have the front cat cut and welded. as for singles I’m not sure. It’s nothing hard to do if you know someone that can weld or you can weld

I used a socket and 2ft extension to drive mine in. Just put the socket on the extension backwards so you have a nice flat area. I carefully approached the 0.030''-0.065'' of bushing sticking out. I couldn't feel it hit the tiny lip inside but I'm at 0.042'' of the bushing sticking out still.

Eh kind of, they still require you to weld on the cat flange. The bolt onto the motor tho haha. Kinda sad they could only muster up 400 series stainless, that's still going to rust in that environment.

Easy enough. Ceramic coating will take care of the rust part too.

Yeah, but then you're putting lipstick on a cheap header and getting to the price of the Thorleys which are a nicer build to begin with.

You still have all your EGR stuff? That’s going to make a difference in the photos and install you are asking about on the newer trucks.

Apparently I have a large missing gap of Amazon orders. Maybe I ordered with my wifes account. Once I find them I'll send a link.

    And using stock alternator belt:

I believe Thorleys are mild steel ceramic coat. I’ve seen plenty of posts about rusting Thorleys. The JBAs are stainless with ceramic.

I will say that the JBAs skimped on the ceramic coating. They did the headers but not the crossover.

I haven’t been able to directly compare both but I say the Thorleys look nicer through the screen. But that could be because they’re shiny.

I got my ceramic coated JBAs for a fairly good deal. But I don’t like the way it forces you to stick the cat in a weld in the obvious gaps from the oblong Y pipe. It’s shit design and creates an obstruction when you paid to get rid of obstructions.

I need to find a good welder/fabricator that can come up with a solution.

No man. Not if you have a single cat. No welding required it bolts up to the stock cat. That's what I just said above.

Idk if I'd agree with that. My dad's dt headers look like hell. The coating didn't last long.

You can get the jbas with different coatings as well.
