Problem in Washington is that the law mandates cops to make an arrest on dv pc. One of the only shall arrests where they have no discretion.

There are laws for false reporting...a woman up here shot herself and said her boyfriend did it which setup a manhunt. She got off on a misdemeanor and no jail time...f-ed

Back to whiskey_dick. Alleged domestic abuser then, unlike him the rest of you also alleged of dv crimes won in court, not livestreaming in a plate carrier and acus from your attic calling for reinforcements and making a MaH 30 rD MaG false flag

Yeah as ninernation mentioned its silly its a shall arrest thing. Luckily my buddy just went to the station and was out like 15 minutes later. They even gave him a ride back to his house lol. But i went over to help him paint and fix up the rental place he was staying at. And drink beer and watch football lol. Him and his gf got into a fight while i was there at like 10am. Went on anyways with us and another buddy doing stuff. Cops showed up at like 6pm saying he had hit her and this and that and that one of her friends had witnessed it (she was never there). For some weird reason she had said this all occurred at like 1pm. Cops took our statements and all and then confronted her and she came clean....or least enough for the cops to not believe her.

Was a bummer...she was a cool girl when i first met her. Great mom and a hardworker. Then just sort of feel in with the wrong crowd and started drinking heavy and doing coke. Ruined her life

Was her name Krystal? I have an ex GF that you last sentence describes to a T:rofl:
Your buddy got lucky, the arresting officer was a female and she had the “i can wait to arrest this POS” vibe to her. I explained my story and had to spend the next two days at the Kent corrections facility. I was a cellmate with a hilarious black dude. I regret not getting his number, he made the whole thing as fun as it could be.

Haha nope not Krystal! He was very lucky. Was a male and female cop who came and they were both pretty easy going. Think it helped it was obvious we had had been working for hours so the cops could tell something wasnt adding up.

Also seems like the Kitsap County Sheriffs are a lot more easy going and not as trigger happy on ticketing/arresting......unless you have out of state plates. All my interactions have been pleasant.....not that ive had many lol. And mostly for small things....someone broke into our shed and another time stole the battery out of our camper

Yeah it's a pretty shit law. I had a friend who was in a fight with his ex wife and she called the cops. She was acting all crazy, went outside and he locked her out. She started punching the door and cut her knuckles up. Cops said that was evidence that he was hitting her and took him in. wtf.

Nothing at all like that up the hill where I'm at. Funny how a few short miles can make a difference....

Nope, but police did shoot a meth head in a stolen raptor containing a poodle.

He has had the truck and dog since Friday, and they finally tracked him down driving around 15 minutes from where he stole the truck

edit; shot and kilt, poodle was unharmed and is back with the rightful family

Yup. Hailed hard for like 2 minutes in Renton in the afternoon. On the way to work today I saw snow on the ground in some spots too.

Well, doing an oil change this weekend it looks like my UCA's might not be my only issue I need to take care of.

The lower ball joints look to be oozing some grease out of them so I'm wondering if it might be time to get those swapped out. The more concerning thing I found is the boot on the drivers side of the steering rack, the whole bottom half of the boot is covered in grease. Any idea what my issue might be? I couldn't see any tears in the boot or any indications of where it might've come from.

Not to mention the shackles are getting beaten up by the over length leafs on my Dakars and the previous issue I found with my uni-balls being shot.

Looks like your steering rack is leaking. The boot doesn't do anything but keep dirt and dust out. If you take a small pick and poke a tiny hole at the bottom of the boot toward the rack, and fluid leaks out, then you know your rack is leaking. I managed to slow mine down a bit by running Lucas oil power steering fluid because it's quite a bit thicker than the stock stuff. Really quiets down the pump too with the bigger tires when turning at full lock.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid might the case. I will have to try that and check the power steering fluid level.

It's super common. As long as you keep an eye on the level, it should've fine. Some racks you can re-seal and it's real easy. Unfortunately, ours you cannot.
