That was my expectation also that it would be much better for $400.

As was said before, you gotta take that up with the guy who actually built your grill.

I wish srq fabrication actually wrote not built by us. Some thing along the lines of 3rd party manufacturing involved

Just think this is less then $1000.00 Try dealing with getting satisfaction on $50,000 .00 piece of tooling 6 months old .

Seems the Owner of that company ran off with his Boy friend and let the wife and kids try and hold things together .

Maybe start a go fund me page to buy you new grill .

That vendor that built your grill no longer exists, just like SRQ stated in his message to you. Now he builds all of it in house.

What are you expecting from the retailer? R u expecting them to eat the cost of a grill they didn’t make after a year? Let’s be realistic.

I'd look for something else. In the gun shooting world we've seen age related failures (glue turns to dust and breaks up) in guns when gorilla glue was used as a a bedding material and/or stock repair.

I said that people that are thinking of ordering some from them so they see and understand that it's not the best products out there and that it does not meet the price tag. And yes now I regret spending my money on something like this grille.

I'm sorry but this makes no sense. The title of this thread is "Don't buy from SRQ Fabrications" as a direct shot at our company yet the grille you have wasn't even built by us (stated multiple times on Instagram and this thread). If the fabricator of your grille was still in business we would have worked with you and him to find a resolution to the issue and made sure you were made whole (as most resellers do). The fact he is no longer in business and can't fix your grille has no bearing on our customer service and the rest of the products available on our site, so why attack us?

Being the fabricator is no longer in business, if someone were to order the same grille now, he wouldn't be the one building it. This means a completely different level of build quality that you have no insight on. I'm one guy working 80+ hours a week and fulfilling 160+ orders a month, stuff will happen and QC issues will occur, it's part of running a business, and why I try my best to offer great customer service.

I don't wish to continue a constant "he said she said" battle with you as it doesn't benefit anyone. I was skeptical to comment on this post in the first place.

While I had no control over this issue, if us taking a hit to cover the cost of glue and an hour of your time to fix the fabricators' mistakes helps resolve anything, send us an email with your order number and we will refund you some money.

Yeah, it's like Amazon except if Amazon was one guy trying to make a living. Agree with you 100%, unfortunately most people have no idea how difficult and stressful it can be to run a small business and keep everybody satisfied

They want to complain so much that sometimes they don't even direct their complaints at the right people.

OP, if the message that you are trying to get across is still "DO NOT BUY FROM SRQ FABRICATION", that's fine although I personally dont think that's the right way to go about this. If not, you should probably change the title of the thread...
