@Tractorman I may need a corn harvest rate consult later. You going to be around? I'm waiting or more information now such as estimated timelines to harvest the entire island and type/number of harvest rigs used.

Remember we were talking about crane foraging densities in GMO vs Non-GMO. Because Non-GMO has lower yields (tons/ha) they have more residual corn, therefore more bird food. Well, we had higher densities of cranes in the GMO fields, fuck! Turns out they harvest from north to south and all my Non-GMO fields are in the north. So it's a temporal harvest issue lowering the residual corn densities the further north the field because the birds had more time to forage before our surveys started. I'm thinking I may find a north south trend, but for a real analysis I need to make assumptions on timelines. if I got the type and number of harvest rigs could you give me your professional estimates of amount of time to harvest? See my figure below. Green is Non-GMO surveyed and orange is gmo.
