Right on man. I’ll be leaving for Tennessee on Wednesday for a week, so I won’t be able to make this one. We will definitely get a day set though. I will be checking out the RRW course in Tennessee while I’m there.

At least $500-600 for that XMaxx, I'd say.

Anyone try that new Kraton 8s? Looks cool. I'm not much into bashing these days but I love the 1/5 trucks. Would be cool to have 1 day, if I'd stop buying race machines lol.

Getting a Tekno EB410.2 for Christmas. It's tough knowing it's sitting in my closet (I pre-ordered it when it first went up) and I can't build it.

I’m leaving it at my LHS for consignment while I’m gone on vacation. Asked to try to get me $700 for it and then told him to keep the money and put it right on a DBXLE2.0. Hahaha.

haven’t tried the new Kraton but I’ve heard good things.

He only does it for me. Hahaha. The owner is a good family friend, so he lets me do consignment and keep my 15% discount

That's a pretty cool deal. Our LHS / track does something similar also. I think having it being sold at the LHS gives the buyer some confidence, rather than CL or some other private sale. So I think you'll get close to what you are wanting for it. Good luck. And that is cool that you are putting the money to a new rig.

Thos things look fun. I still have my Mini 8ight-T. It's a cool truck but the durability isn't great. I have way more money into it than I wanted to. I wonder how well the new Mini-T will hold up?

Oh sweet mini-t! I probably built 5 or 6 of them way back in the day. Build one, mod it, use old parts to build another and so on. Still have at least one of them.
This one says its mid motor though, which could be interesting...

One of my builds from way back

I agree. That’s typically what I try to do, sell rigs I’m not totally interested in anymore. I really want that Losi though.

Picked up an Element Enduro this past weekend from my LHS. They run a great sale every mid-November, and I couldn't help myself.

This Christmas card photo idea was quickly shot down.

I just ordered the Enduro as well, Kit form. It’ll keep me in the basement on some cold nights.

Finally getting the suspension and steering perfect. Got the 2.2 without running on a scx10ii with the crazy jacked up look you see alot. Got 120mm rear shocks and stock length fronts

I'd call 120mm shocks jacked up... I bet if you put some 90s built for droop with those axles wouldn't feel like the rig was too top heavy

Well only the rear is 120. But they mount higher then the stock location which makes the Rear only slightly higher then the front. front is on stock 90 with a tinny spacer lift to help with the 2.2s

the portal axles is what really gives it hight.

Love the look of the factory body, but not how thin it is. Chassis is great and the suspension is butter smooth. This is also the quietest R/C truck I have had in awhile - it clearly has that Team Associated voodoo in the gears and overall construction.

Stock ESC? Not a fan - smooth going forward, but the reverse is very abrupt in its application. Also the lack of an on/off switch is kind of a bummer. I realize one should always disconnect their battery when not in use, but sometimes I just want to turn my truck off quickly if I'm going to be carrying it, or just need to stop using it for a hot minute. It's cool that it comes with two plugs, one to power the headlights with and another for another light set.

I will likely be replacing the ESC with a Hobbywing 1080, same as my TRX-4. It's just such a great ESC, and has an on/off switch. I will then power the headlights off the receiver with a servo extension off the aux channel.
