Just added toolbox and roof-rack to haul my fishing boat 100's of miles into the backwoods every week. Goodrich K02s, Bilstein 5100 front and back, no lift.
Yeah, i saw those comments too, just goofs. I've pulled a few guys out of their trucks on road side when they pulled stupid crap on the road. Amazing how quick the tune changes when its face to face. Thats the internet for you. I worked a lot of heavy jobs, including 16 years on the high seas on west coast, commercial fishing from south of Alaska to all of the outside waters BC coast. That is 24 hours a day, 15 days on and 1 day off, then repeat for 5 months. Longlining halibut, chasing tuna 100 miles offshore in 80mph storms, trolling salmon, herring fishing, and more. You learn to look after yourself and not talk S&$T unless ready to back it up. Have been rammed on the high seas more than once, had a shotgun at my face with threat to shoot if we cut the guys net, after he sabotaged our net first. Cut his net in half on the spot and he dropped the gun and took off in his herring skiff. That stuff I take serious, the rest is just talk and fun.

Whiners and complainers are going to get the Tacoma killed like they have killed other fond vehicles before it.
And here’s the thing, some just made the wrong choice and we have to hear about it.

But why not bitch at the dealer who they bought it from? At least he got paid for listening to the constant b/s whining & crying, but we have endure that chit for free!

And the thing is, I like my truck because I know where the ETC button is, and I’m not too lazy to put the A/T in S4, S5 or S6.
And BTW, I wonder how many whiners realize that if they engage ETC with S6 it will hold the gear better at the higher speeds?

But NOooo they just come here and bitch to those that have no fault and don’t get a dime for listening.

    GEEZ!

i have complained about every truck I have ever had, but loved them all including the Taco. Reality is most vehicles will have TSBs and recalls. Its ok, as long as the manufacturers listen and fix that stuff and don't let it drag on for years. My best vehicle was a 1965 Pontiac Parisienne, that car went on so many hunting trips, coming back with a moose on the roof and 3 guys and 2 weeks of camping gear inside. Six cyl, 3 on the tree, and never had a serious issue. That car went on some horrible roads on Alaska highway moose hunting trips. Only complaint was it did not have enough room in it. Could only fit 8 on the inside, and 3 or 4 in the trunk getting into drive-in movie theaters. :)

I wasn’t referring at you, you’re good, you had a legit concern because I have verified it.

In a way it may fall on TOYOTA for not explaining their functions better, but tbh, no matter what anyone says or does, the people who want out of a Tacoma because they need a sports car are never going to do the right thing and be out on their own.

You have the truck you need, and are not constantly bitching of this or that, big difference

Adjust your sensitivity on your adaptive CC, it helped a lot in my truck.
