Definitely a long drive. Drove Reno-Norfolk twice in 30 days .

 

Gah you got me beat then. This is the second trip in 2 weeks lol. Good thing is I remember directions for now. Bad news is got 2 dogs with me this time so less stops and no sleeping in the truck lol

 

First time was with wife and the dog. Second was solo.

 

Went to the local 4wp store. Saw a lifted WJ so already knew this place was gonna be weird

asked where the nearest off-road park was and they mentioned some mud park behind a store lmao. I’m trying to meet some fellow wheelers. Where y’all be?

 

Any meet ups happening this coming weekend?

 

We’re here just nowhere to actually wheel without going 4 hours away

 

Yeah this. I go to rausch and aoaa which are about 7 hours away. Just turn it into a weekend with camping too.

It wasn’t bad, I plan on going back. Just been busy going other places instead. Now that I’ve been back up to the parks in PA, I forgot how much I miss them which is why I’m going there December and January

 

I'm going black friday. Kinda nervous that place has been bad luck for me.

Uwharrie is fun. There’s so much to do for a wide arrange of vehicles which is really nice. If you’re more built or not as built as whoever you’re with, there’s plenty of stuff for everyone to get into.

I’ve run every trail there and Dutch John to Dickey Bell is my favorite run there. Couple technical sections, couple flexy sections.

Daniels is cool too, a lot of people know that first ledge as super intimidating but the actual hill climb after a few switch backs is pretty tough too.

Most of the campgrounds are right off the fire roads but there’s a few that are a little more hidden so you won’t have as many people going by.

Factory Firestone tires 265/65/17 with about 8k on them, theyve been rotated.
