    I have noticed that about NC. Same national forest SW of ashville. No this no that signs everywhere. NE of ashville and it's normal NF rules. Is it county ordinances ?

    It's all over in reality. I've been to nat'l parks, forests, and state parks out west also. They have similar signage. There isn't a simple answer but animals, fire, nature, etc. all play some roll in the different rules with burning, camping, etc. It's weird.

    Then there is the whole transport and expansion of bugs if you bring your own firewood from more than blah blah miles away.. It's kind of a hassle, but oh well camping makes up for it.

    Didn’t get the DoT looked taken I think it was the dot but got a good sized spot past it towards Baldin Lake(?) loving this place! We’re thinking this will be our new tradition!
