Right and nothing beats onboard firewood for those times you want to have a campfire or happen to pull a Les Stroud and get lost and have to dismantle your truck for survival purposes

Right! And screw those overpriced over weight mall crawler mods. Goodwill mods are cool and your money is helping the needy.

OP this is literally the most interesting thread to hit TW in long while. We need build details

I suggested a build thread the other day. I am curious about the mods on the hood and the venting in the fender. OP explained a couple of things and they made sense. He has been responding in the mornings. I was kinda waiting for openhood shots. whether the mods are actually functional or just go along with the mad max or Zombie killer theme is irrelevent

I want to know more on the vents on the hood myself. If your a contractor you don’t have to worry about rocks breaking your windows at the job sites

He did explain he works with this truck. the racks along with the tie downs on the fenders allow him to transport 16' boards and pvc tubing so after that they made sense

I use to paint homes and help carry stuff for the other Handymans.. Lol.. The original bed I sold.. I eventually may have an Aluminum bed made.. Not sure how much it would cost but building out of wood has many options.. Right now it's just for looks.. Fun ride to work and back
