Well I wouldn't want to do that. But the point of having adjustable headlight housings is so that you can aim the beam. Obviously if you dont adjust for the new bulbs it's going to change the direction of the light. As for the light bar, it literally is a no name light bar. The meter showed my light bar was slightly less bright. But the difference is negligible as far as the human eye can tell.

LEDS's and Halogen headlight bulbs put out light in different areas of the bulb/LED differently. Re-aiming the beam after installing LED's in a housing made for a halogen bulb ain't gonna do the trick.

I'll let you know how it turns out. Although I have never done it in a tacoma, I have however done it to satisfy the local police department for many customers cars. If I am owed an I told you so I will gladly eat crow and allow you the opportunity.

Do you have a double cab? Is it the same 05-15? I can't find the 6x9's you have under lower front door. I can find the rear door 4 3/4

2nd gen double cabs have 6x9s and tweeters in the front doors. The rear door speakers are 6 1/2".

yah I have a double, here’s the link to the fronts. Crutchfield says they won’t fit but they actually do, did a lot of research on them and others have directly told crutchfield that they in fact do fit. They sent me the free bracket and electrical connectors anyway

Yup definitely needs projectors! Though with projectors i will say that the LEDS are brighter closer up but the HID's have better depth brightness. I know lots of people were commenting when LED/s came out about how you shouldn't put LED's in HID projectors but my TRS projectors did perfect with the switch over with no difference in cutoff line and no weird angle glare.

So if i don't even have motor mounts they can't crack off the frame right?? lol
Also hacked out my lower core support brace to replace with some tubing since my factory piece was a little bit twisted
But hey got both of my battery box's frames built up (hacked out the factory tray that looked like shit)

So what is the end game here, you are cutting out a lot of support structure.

and replaced with stronger tubing, but if you really think theres a whole lot of support from these pieces go stand on your lower and upper core support and tell me what happens....i'll wait. But all jokes aside i wanted a removable upper support for removing the engine so i used trail gears roll cage couplers to allow for a bolt togethor assembly.

I'm curious if anyone could possibly make a custom tailgate cap? Or knows someone that might? I've been looking for a special type for awhile now and haven't had any luck. I searched different vehicle makes, companies (that cater to Tacoma accessories), eBay, Amazon, voodoo, mobtown, corner store auto shops, machine shops and come up empty handed. I'm on the verge of throwing in the towel. I thought I would take one last stab at it and post about it one more time lol

Here are a few pictures of what I'm getting at. Thanks in advance :)
