    The wheels and tires on this one were on one of those “heavy duty” wagons from Northern Tool or somewhere like that. They had them at work and when the wagons started falling apart they were gonna trash them all. I got a gate pass for all the wheels and tires.

    This little Havalon knife works great for caping out a skull plate. Then into the Borax.

    About a week the first time, then peel off any dried up meat/tissue. Then probably 2 more times, repeating the same process. By the end of the third week, everything is dried up and any remaining membranes peel right off. Boiling might be quicker, but I’ve used this method for years on skull plates. Borax also works on drying snakeskins.
