Yeah. Vent pipes. In most of our cellars.

We have several new cellars that have vented slotted floors. But cleaning out the vents before harvest is a pita.

Ah yes. So you also have to work around electricity...

I could learn a thing or two...

I didn't speak up. But my electrocution tally this year is now 7 as of today. :anonymous:

Very. Some of the cellars we contract are not very efficient. And tend to have at least 1 or two hotspots. Just have to send these loads to wash and sort.

Very true. Less desirable spuds that are soft will be sent through the plant and processed into tots.

The moldy ones are sorted out however. But soft spuds are tots.

    I also love tots

Well at least they dont get wasted.
Reminds me of a band from Philly called “The Wasted Potatoes”
They always were stoned out of their minds on stage

Just a few pipes of this particular cellar. But we have dealt with cellars that were plum full of rotten spuds.

One cellar in particular. "Poteete" always goes bad. And I feel bad for the operators that have to load out of these cellars.

Tater wedges are one step above tots. But I would eat a tot before a wedge...
