On second thought, the 16" TEs don't look half bad :D

Does anyone have those comparison pix of the +0/-20 ET mounted... I swear I saw it in this thread but I couldn't find them when I went back a few dozen pages o_O:thumbsup:

Thank @BVita for posting these crucial pics of the ever questioned +0 vs -20 setup on the 16" TE's

I just love how small the face looks of the 16" x.. Especially with a 33" MT...

The 17" xt will shine with the variety of tire choices between the 285/75 and a 295/70 sizes

Hahaha thanks for digging up the post @93truck!

What's the biggest tire that the TE37 XT would fit on a 3rd gen with no lift or a 2" lift? UCAs needed or not?

Theres a ton of factors that go into this, and your definition of "fit"

With a 2.5" lift, I cleared my et0 te37x with just some plastic liner trimming, but no cmc.

This was also a 2" of lift with 315/75r16. It "fit" for everyday driving, with a fair amount of work from a cmc, pinch welds, cutting up my plastic fender liner, and a lot of trimming to clear it for the street.

With absolute no rub / minimal amount of plastic trimming? - 265/70r17.
You *may* get away with a 285/70r17 all terrain tire, like a ko2 at a 2" lift with some added castor from UCAs with no other modifications.

    17x8.5 -10, spec wise, is in between the 16x8 et0 and 16x8 -20.
Which is what I ran here, with a 285/75r17.

With a cmc and 2" of lift, you can clear a 285/75r17 as well.

Thank you..and I should have been more specific.

Looking to fit without doing a CMC and little to, no cutting. Funny that I just saw a couple 2020 OR at the dealership with 3” lift, 285/70/17 KM3 on 17” 4Runner pro wheels and they said it Doesn’t rub or need any modifications. These were brand new trucks by the way with stock UCA. Just wondering how that fitment doesn’t rub.

Those t4r pro wheels are quite conservative (17x7 et12 iirc). Which is why I referenced my et0 setup as well. The 17x8.5 -10 would be flush, if not, just a hair past flush. The difference between a t4r trd pro and te37xt is 41.1mm of poke.

To play it safe, 265/70r17 would be it.
