@09TRDSport4x4 these showed up today. They do fit the slot. Ill have time to see if they'll work when I install them tomorrow.

Alright these fit perfectly! Wiring wasn't too difficult and I didn't have to take apart the armrest/center console even though I did. But realizing how simple it was is a bonus. Pulling out the climate control panel and fishing the USB wire down to the empty slot is sufficient enough.

does everybody's dim when you turn on the headlights? did I miss a wire maybe? really wish mine would auto dim.

 

The side buttons dim on mine when I turn the headlights on, but not the display itself..

Once I downloaded agama I noticed the screen started to do that.

 

Anyone else start their truck today to this window magically starting up to the file update website? Weird...

 

Never had that happen. Though it'll usually start at whatever I was on last

I think it might have been headunit reloaded. Maybe I hit something? I'll have to look into it.

Has anyone tried to use Google contacts on the unit.. I installed but it won't let me add my Google account, keeps saying account already exists, which it does as my Gmail account is there.. I get email and everything, just would like the phone contacts available..

Really, mine doesn't ... Hummmm... So when you have an incoming phone call it show a persons name?

Interesting.... When I go to the phone app on the HU I don't see any contacts.. I have to make the call from my phone then the HU takes over the call..

Ok I'm an idiot... I'd notice my phone buzz when I clicked on the people in the phone app, duh it was asking for permissions... Now my contacts show on the HU.. Now that being said, can one of you fine gentlemen open the calendar app that comes with the HU and see if it lets you login with your Gmail account? Please... Both the calendar app and contacts I downloaded tell me the account already exists on this device, but does not let me select it from a list.... SOmething ain't right here... It is just an android device, like any tablet it should let all your Google apps connect using your Google account.. I use a wireless cell brick for direct internet connectivity..

I am really close to pulling the trigger on the Dasaita HU, but am wondering if anyone with the rear view mirror backup cam has successfully made the move to the HU display. I will be picking up a go fast camper in a few weeks and will no longer have a rear windows. I am hoping to completely remove the rear view mirror, but would like the backup cam in the HU first.

Does anyone know if there is a way to display exterior temp on the HU? That is the other thing I would be missing from the mirror. Thanks!
