I bought it used March 23, 2019 with 5800 miles. Currently has 25k miles. Last 20k miles have mainly been dirt and woods roads. I just had the leaf spring silencers replaced (under warranty) due to terrible squeaking. My work is pretty rough on the truck, but it has performed like a champ.

Have owned my 2016 Access Cab long Box MT since new, bought it in June of 2016.
Have about 65,000km's on it (40,000mi) and it's been great, love the truck. Air conditioning died this spring but Toyota fixed it for free, much to my surprise.

125k miles and still drives like new!

I’ve had three 3rd gens & four 2nd gens, they all held up well. This is my first 4cyl.

I have a ‘17 DCSB I purchased new in March 2017. I currently have 22K miles on it. It’s relegated to snow/camping/weekend duties.

My 2016 taco is at 120K miles on it or about 180 Kilometres on it here the other week. Due for some service and maintenance on it which has been on going over the summer (fluids, mounts, spark plugs, etc).

    List of issues to date.

-drive seat heated seat seems to have stopped working, checking to see if this is a plug or something that has been knocked loose/etc. Randomly stopped working one day, Hopefully it is just a broken wire, fuse or something.

-Driver sides tail light mount has broken, it is held in with one screw for now, just needs a new tail light, which I will probably go aftermarket and get a pair of instead of buying OEM.

-Paint, well not overly impressed with the paint to say the least. Probably have it redone one summer and do it with raptor liner or something.

-Parking break doesn’t seem to want to let go, numerous water crossings, probably a bit sticky, needs to be addressed.

-ABS sensor I think has stopped working as sometimes it will kick me out of 4wd and turn traction ctrl off, throws a code, will have this checked my next time at the dealer as well.

Overall been pretty minor stuff/general wear and tear besides maintenance that needs to be addressed. Brakes are probably due for a service here soon and will probably get a shop to do them when i have the time to bring it in, otherwise I will do it myself, but i hate dealing with drum brakes.

My truck is heavily modified and I have had zero mechanical issues with it to date, only issues seems to be the aftermarket stuff breaking.

I have 202,000 on my 2016 3.5L V6. My brother thinks Barcelona Red is a Sh!t name for the paint code and calls it Fancy Ketchup instead. I like his humor, so the name sticks. Fancy Ketchup was put into service in October 2015.

She's had all the usual service, e.g., suspension, breaks, fluids, tires, filters, etc. I can account for every oil change.

Tonight we replaced one of three U-joints on the rear driveshaft. As you can see from the photo, it was seriously toasted. Rust fell out of it as we took it out of the ball-joint press.

I'm not sure if the dealer regularly checks the grease zerks when you get an oil change. Bottom line is check 'em and grease 'em or else the U-joint fairy will seriously F#$&k your Thanksgiving travel plans.

I'm wondering how soon I should change the water pump? Any thoughts?

The last photo just shows sometimes that after wrenching a little hammerschlagen is necessary to help decompress.
