I'm wanting to get these within the next month or so. The silver ones do not seem to be a problem to find ($480 shipped), the anthracite gray ones on the other hand do seem to be hard to find ($640...cheapest I've found so far and would need to be ordered...they are backordered). I figure I will take my time and over the next month try to find the best deal. Couple of questions:

    1. For those that have already bought them...did you have to pay extra for lug nuts or did they come with the wheels? I had one dealer quote me $6.50 for EACH lug nut!! (an extra $156!!)

    2. Once purchased, how much did you pay to have them mounted (including TPMS if they could make them work)? Who did you use?

I know there are a lot of threads on these wheels and before someone starts yelling at their computer to use the "search" feature...I did and didn't see info on the questions above.

    Thanks!

Mine came with lug nuts and also valve stems in each box. I mounted them myself though so I can't help ya there.

As tacos said, some wheels come with lugs. Typically the more expensive sets do so there's some compensation for ya!
As far as tpms, I've heard that if your truck is newer/lower mileage, you shouldn't need to have them rebuilt.

In a nutshell - I can't give you figures for anything but I hope this still helps :D

I bought a set of silver FJ TRD wheels from Fred Haas Toyota World (internet site), and they came with stems and lug nuts. Parts guy told me that I will need alloy TPMS since my truck came with 16" steel wheels. Dealer wants $300+ for new TPMS. I plan on going to Discount Tire for new 265/75/16 tires and they should be able to install existing TPMS with staps for alot less than what the dealer wants.

Michelin 265/75/16 MS2's, Grillcraft MX series/TOYOTA badging. FJ/SE TRD Anthracite gray wheels. Katzkin leather/heated seats.

Question #1-I did not pay extra for the lug nuts. Each wheel came in its own box with a separate lug nut box contained inside the box the TRD Anthracite gray wheel is shipped in.

Question #2- I paid $80.00 to have all four mounted and balanced with TPMS removed and reinstalled on the new TRD rims from my stock Toyota OEM alloys. Work done by my local Discount Tire. They did a great job.

I am happy with the wheels and have no issues. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the feedback guys. It does help.

It's funny...I'm sending out a ton of emails to parts departments getting price quotes. The one that wants to charge me for the lugs is acting like he is doing me a favor by coming down on the wheels a little. I told him he won't be able to come down enough if he still wants to charge me $156 just for the lug nuts.

Most of the other places are replying back that they come with lug nuts. Seems weird that one dealer wouldn't.

    thanks again

Got my wheels from Frank's Toyota on Ebay. They came with the lugs, rubber stems and center caps. I ended up also buying locking lugs from Frank's also. I had my dealership install them with the TPMS from my other wheels for about $110.00, per Frank's Toyota if a dealer installs them they will be covered under the factory bumper to bumper coverage. Just make sure you keep your invoice.

Does Frank's or another discount parts dealership also sell the Tacoma TRD OR alloy wheels?

I don't see any posted. But, you could try calling/e-mailing them if your interested. I think they're posting the FJ TRD's wheels because they're harder to get and in demand right now.
