I always look for a place to show this photo and tell the story about it. Layton Utah to Blythe California, I was loaded to the max...

Right around 14...more down hill than up, Layton to Blythe, but we did some climbing too, believe me.

Nah, they got paid for their work. If anything, a raise would be nice for all the people that tow over the rated limit.

You are close to max it appears, but just do it, especially while you are under warranty.

The truck will do it. I towed 5500+ though the Rockies and Idaho and Wyoming. It's a fucking truck. Treat it like one and have a blast.

    You'll be an expert.

I got like 11mpg if I was lucky. Sometimes 8 or 9 with high grade passes... There's one going from Jackson to Idaho that's 10%. I know there are haters but the tranny is smart...

    No.
It means BRAINS BEFORE USER MANUAL.
The manual is for people who DON'T HAVE A BRAIN.

All that trailer and you were carrying a car wash on the truck to boot.
See everybody? These are tough trucks.

Impressive not in the picture though, but who's counting too busy worrying about what the manual says :D

    That's the spirit I say!

Too bad for the OP change of plans, I was really looking forward on taking odds in Vegas to see if the truck could make it in or not

Advocating openly on the internet in favor of disregarding weight and tow limits, and everybody else is the one without a brain... right. The use of common sense should bring your limits down from the manual, not increase them.

In case it wasn't obvious, nobody here should be listening to this kid. If you're trolling well done, you got me.

Towed my GT350 just fine. I use an aluminum trailer that weighs around 1,500 lbs. Additional features to help with towing:

    - brake controller
    - Firestone rear airbags

You do know that the user manual was written by people, right? Not gods.

But I suppose that a CHILD, like you, wouldn't have the capacity to think independently. Maybe in a few decades when you've grown up a little and see how things actually work.

Or maybe not. In which case, I feel sorry for you.
