I used to tow jet skis growing up and always carried those jerry cans to refuel at the marina. It beats paying the outrageous prices of gasoline at the marina pumps! Have you seen how much they price gouge at those places for a gallon of gas? Ridiculous!

Only time I ever carry mine is when I go out West, we rode White Rim in Utah, it was a 3 day trip with no stores anywhere.

I cut 4 yards every summer and use my metal jerry can for regular gas and small 2 gallon plastic for 2-cycle gas.

My metal cans were for grass cutting, motocross and jet skiing. I don't jet ski no more, but still cut grass like a mofo. I need to invest in a riding mower next year!

Happy Thanksgiving to all of yall. Remember those that are less fortunate, the American soldier that's abroad, and all the little blessings we have in our lives, that we take for granted sometimes. Gobble til ya wobble!

I like that with the rotopax they are fastened down really good and when I go out west bed space is always needed. But around here I have never needed extra gas. I did the Red Clay Rally this past May, it was a 3 day, 603 mile trip and I never got below a 1/4 tank.

My reason is 'I'm SHORT' and the front is lifted 4" and oversized (soon to be bigger) tires. I can barely hold the hood high enough to put the rod up there,

Was wondering if anyone would get to this point. I'm not "Short", but not tall either. To not have to push the hood up that extra 1 inch to get the prop rod underneath it by itself is worth it. There is no way my wife would ever be able to get my hood open with out them. No to close it, she would still have problems...

Also like Jeff said, not having to work around the prop rod is also a great

Do you still have to pop rivet tool? When I get these it will be my project for our yet to be determined mod day, or maybe just an hour in your driveway one afternoon.

lol, If its something you want don't let anyone talk you out of it. They are people on here that spend more than that on a different grill and that has no increased use at all. I am one of them and there is so many useless mods most everyone on here does but I personally think you will like this mod, I know I do.
