    I bet they are running the financing through a bank's installment loan system to do the payment accounting. I'm sure they are underwriting the loans and stand to lose their capital of the buyer skips out on paying. They should be getting enough in trade in or down payment to pay for their investment in the car. After that, any additional payments are gravy.

    I'd say it's just a matter of patience tbh. Some people will buy if they're in a rush or planning to use as trail rig maybe. But I mean 10k can buy u a really fuckin nice taco. Mine was 10k out the door from dealer with 94k miles and clean title. Def not worth that much to me with higher miles and a fucked title lol

    Yeah, I did start picking up more prop maintenence and repair on rentals, in addition to the appliance repair
    Gonna be starting a flood repair in a week or so. It'll be new wood laminate floor and trim. Kinda nice to get a bit of variety of different work and keeps me strong and active physically and crap

    Very cool. Got to stay physically active. Many years ago (in my early 20s), I managed an appliance and audio store in relatively small town. We had a young TV repair tech who quite a handsome young man. Very quiet and introspective Marlboro man type. Never seemed to have a regular GF though. He would come out and hang out with us on weekends to drink and party at the lake. This is when we were hanging and water skiing with a "one hit" Rock Group so we were the party people. So I kept getting calls from a some regular customers for him to come out and adjust the TV. This was in the days when TVs did need some adjustment.

    I didn't mind, we were bring in some good money from the service calls. I had to ask why he had so many calls that only needed adjustment. So me and my buddy coworker got him drunk one time and got him to fess up. Hell he didn't need a GF. He was servicing 7 different young marrieds while their hubbies were away at work. So I knew who the people were. We had another tech that apparently wasn't so well liked so I sent him out on a call just to see what would happen.

    One day one of the husbands came by and wanted to know if I could arrange for the younger guy to come out to adjust the TV in the bedroom. That scared the hell out of me. So I setup the call. Then a couple of months later they came back later and bought a huge stereo system. I'm glad they were happy with our business.

    I dunno. They were all happy and spending thousands on high end stereo equipment. I had money to burn and bought a nearly new Cadillac to celebrate. We didn't have any import dealers in the area back then or I would have bought a BMW. Fun days.

    I will say that, for ME, it may sound kinda lame but it's okay, but for ME, i want any man of the home that I am working in and he's not there, I want him to have the peace of mind of knowing that while he's off providing for his family, his family is in good hands and crap and even if his wife is feeling frisky, ain't happening with me. I dunno why that's important to me but it is. I wouldn't want him to ever have that suspicion of his spouse, let alone with me involved with the spouse.
    This crap I say now with 40 yrs of life under my belt. In my past I have done plenty of dumb things, dumb things financially, dumb things emotionally, dumb things physically, dumb things morally, etc etc. And so along those lines of dumb stuff I've done, why go through the pain of the effects/results of doing that dumb crap if you don't learn from it?! I learned. I never want to be part of causing that pain in people's families. I beg that that dumb crap I've done before isn't held against me:(
    Now all the single ladies?! Single file line over here.... :rofl::D
    Funny funny story though man! I was :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    @Blue92

    In sharing a bunch of shit with Miguel since I'm at my storage to grab my ps4, I ran into one of my tubs of primers -

    Bet you haven't seen that old box style in awhile. I had hoarded up over 50k primers in 210m and 215m before Federal had quit producing them and I held on to them since.

    I used to work at HD, people did this and we didn't mind because they bring em back around springtime when people buy em for projects anyway.

    1FZ is a spendy MFer to get ahold of usually for a core, forget a running one. Easy enough to rebuild though, the heads are gold so if the casting is usable you've got money right there. Not that many cruisers compared to all the other Toyotas in the states.
