So I was worried about the C-clip at the end of the axle since it looked to be missing a piece. Got the proper piece from Toyota, and they looked exactly the same. Put me at ease, I guess, even though I waited for a $1.25 part that was exactly what I had. :shrug:

Getting an alignment today and having them check the torque specs on everything too. Don't ask me how I drove around the block with loose LCA bolts.

Hey guys, I'm looking for a fabricator in the river valley area who can cut and weld aluminum, for a project with my truck. Does anyone have somebody they would recommend?

You might try Bray Sheet Metal in Little Rock. I'm not sure if they would do it but they could direct you to someone. They work on all kinds of stuff though. Last time I was in their shop they were working on scaled-down prototypes of a new type of silo design.

My mice dont like PB...they dont seem to like cheese or anything but my bird seed, lil bastids. I put traps out and they dont touch it, but destroy everything else.

 

I need to figure out how to mouse proof my 4Runner. I’m thinking moth balls, sticky traps and poison should give me the trifecta of death I need
