The ECT is nice on the cruiser but I hardly ever need it. That's like the one thing with an auto I've ever really enjoyed driving.

 

I've always had a manual for daily and never had an issue with slow traffic driving. At this stage of the game it becomes second nature and the stop and go doesn't bother me, it's the traffic and stupid drivers that piss me off and get on my nerves.

 

@eon_blue how close are you to Watts?
that is on my bucket list for some reason
is it dangerous there?

 

I've never minded an manual in heavy traffic either. I forget I'm even controlling the clutch.

 

i find it to be all about clutch management or whatever

don't just keep creep creep creep like the ATs do
allow some room and just wait for traffic to move up some and open up some spots
perhaps the occasional noDck will scoot their way in from the gap left
then you can use one of @BartMaster1234 fantastic loudass horns to give them a piece of it

 

It's rock crawling that you grow to hate it.

 

Nowhere near it thankfully...Watts is in ghetto LA (LA proper). I'm not in the city of Los Angeles, I'm in LA county which stretches pretty far and wide. Monrovia is in the foothills of the San Gabriel mountains to the north/east of the city of LA

Probably just one. If you're thinking of the San Jose area it's nowhere near that, that's way further up north near San Francisco. Unless there's another Watts up there

my state has recently been labeled by an Iowa TW guy as a day of sadness driving across

 

they did close down much of i80 for snow yesterday

 

MT for the win (again)

 

Can't be as bad as Texas, takes like three days to go through that hell hole. MT is at least a beautiful drive, but it takes a day and change too.

 

although my neighborhood only got 1 or 2 inch of snow and some freezing ice

 

San Jose is my neck of the woods. San Francisco Bay Area. I live in Hayward which is 30 mins from San Francisco to the North and San Jose to the South.

 

don't you see like cattle and oil/gas rigs in Texas?

haha...only because they're a Kings rival. But the Kings are doing god awful this season so I can't really brag
