    Nah. Today is mostly mental/cognitive.
Figured out yesterday why an expensive failure occured. And today, it is going to be determining, and correcting the root cause, snd adding some safety factors to prevent future repeat failures.

Good luck on the drive, I'd claim a belly ache:rofl: You going to the southern area or staying up in Northern NJ? I shit on NJ sometimes but they actually have a fair amount of nice space if you stay out of the cities.

We stopped traveling around to distant places once my brothers and sisters started poppin' out babies and we had our own "extended family". So happy we don't drive to Boston and back in the same day regularly anymore, I guess grandparents passing plays a big roll in that as well.

I like my cousins, but I don't like going to a place to just sit with people, if I'm around other people I want to have something to do.

I'll be down there for the weekend helping my cousin finish up their new house. They currently live in Mt. Holly and just bought a house in Tabernacle

What is your sleep strategy typically? I have no kids so it’s a huge advantage but I’m new to the night shift world and I have to switch from days, evenings and nights often

I work a 9/80 schedule and this Friday is my scheduled Friday off. My company gave me today off as the Black Friday holiday, so I'm pretty excited. Granted, the small one has a doctor's appointment today and the wife is helping her sister set up for her first Thanksgiving hosting extravaganza, so it won't be a lazy day, but it's still a good, restful day.

When my sister in law was over this weekend she asked me to replace a blown headlight, and since the weahter was decent I dug out some of my detailing stuff and took a crack at her headlights. I haven't actually ever done a set before, but they came out pretty decent, I think.

The rest of her car's a lost cause, but I was pleased. Is it perfect, probably not, but it's close. I don't know how long they'll stay clear for, but I did seal them, so I'll keep an eye open. I see local shops charging money for this. Maybe I should set up a side gig.

dont really have a strategy. The kids complicate the sleep significantly so I try to get as much as possible here and there. Been doing it for like 9 years so my body is used to operating on very little sleep. If I sleep after a Thursday shift on Friday morning and try to go to bed “normally” Friday I’m up by 3AM Saturday. No rhyme or reason to any of it.

Megs Scratch-X followed by Menzerna Intensive Polish on a used Megs MF 6” pad with my Porter Cable 7424 set at 5.5.

Finished off with a coat of their headlight sealant and a coat of Optimum Opti-Seal over it.

    We will see.

    Happy Thanksgiving to meeee!

Tires have 5/32 left on them. Just ordered a new set of tires because that's exactly what I wanted to spend money on right now. I went with Cooper Discoverer AT3 4S. They've got a 65,000 mile tread warranty, have a 3-peak raking and have OWLs, so I can't ask for much more. They've also got fairly decent early reviews.

That is a huge improvement! New side gig can refund you for your tires!

The question would be how to market without dealing with “I need to speak to the manager” types. Charge so little it doesn’t matter?

But seriously, I wouldn't promise anything but cleared up lenses. Say you seal them as well but don't guarantee them. If they leave happy with the car, you are done with your job IMO.
