Fox suspensions.....avoid

Some mfgs of off road rebuildable shocks reccomend rebuilding / servicing them at 1500miles

 

and here I am stating my opinion that Fox's terms arent fair while everyone piles on and attempts to pound me into submission

 

I wouldnt buy those!!

and me pointing out unfairness is evidently very very wrong when Fox is involved!!

 

Milage means very little, in the first 3500 miles of my fox suspension I had driven ~800 miles on dirt roads including some 60+ mph washboard stuff, jumped the truck (on accident), exposed them to salt water by driving on the beach

I dont need a poll. the response is obvious. still doesnt change my mind though.

 

I'm not one of "everyone". I at least agree that if they get the shock back and determine that it is a warranty issue they should reimburse your cost to send it in. I had a somewhat similar issue with CarID a few years back. I ordered brake pads and they sent the wrong ones. I was pissed that I had to pay return shipping for their confirmed mistake. And I had paid to have the wrong part shipped to me. I sucked it up because what was I gonna do, try to sell them and get my money back? Lesson learned I will never do business with them again.

You’re worried about your time being wasted yet you’re sitting on this forum arguing with a bunch of people about whether fox warranty is fair.

It’s costing you your time, solve the issue how you see fit and move on.

 

I have no where said I wanted them to treat me different than any other customer. I want everyone to be treated like they are an appreciated customer. I think thats the best way to do business.
