A quality mount goes far in terms of reliability and adjustability. I only use an L4 G24 Wilcox mount

Nice, I'm already thinking on a mk18 clone but can't decide if I should make it 300 blackout 5.56 or 7.62x39 for home defense and nod use. Have a holo with 3x magnifier and a ir laser

    Those are badass...

Can't do that here cause California :jerkoff:

In all seriousness though, I can steer you in the right direction to do night vision the correct way, but it'll just turn into an expensive toy you will rarely touch.

My Mod3bs sit in a little pelican case all year every year and really it's just money tied up.

Just rented torque wrench from oriellys. The first one I got was bent to shit, like someone used it as a breaker bar. The second one looks branch new. Hoping it’s somewhat accurate.

It'll be good enough for that nut. As tight as you can physically make it will be a good spec for that nut

It’s got a weird spec, like 121# then back it off and go to 56# or some shit.

The center bearing gets preloaded? No shit? I haven't done mine yet and now thinking about it, I bet your GD right though
So hang from it and then back it off and then do like a half hang from it:D

You have to torque it down a lot at first to seat it on the DS. Then back it off and torque to spec. If you slide the bearing on by hand and only give it 56 pounds it wont be on all the way.

Yeah the hang all your weight on breaker bar was the 100+ lb torque setting and then removing and then putting back and hang half your weight was the 50 lb one:D oh that won't be good enough? Ma uncle jimbob said that's how his brothers cousin did it one time

Not crazy about Half Life. I only played Half Life 2. Good game, but I’m not crazy about it.
