I have put in Racesport gen3 leds I'm the process of doing a custom audio overhaul which will include Hybrid audio unity 6x9 mid bass, unity 3 inch mid driver in the dash and fiberglassing tweets in pilar soundeading all the doors, floors, and headliner and I will be using a helix processor to retain the factory radio and as far as subs I might make custom brackets to move rear seat foward a few inches to get a full size sub in there or I might just go with a pair of jl tw5 or tw3 and it will all be powered by jl audio HD amps or I might try out the new hybrid amps
There new icon line is worth every penny I have all snap-tools and Matco but I bought the icon lineup to compare and they are great honestly I wouldn’t buy snap-on sockets or ratchets after trying these I even grabbed a icon socket and handed it to my snap on dealer and told him I needed a warranty and he thought is was a snap on socket until he got on his truck and really took a close look at it he was also impressed

Has anyone here ever had good luck with a tool they saw on a TV infomercial and would recommend buying?

    Reserected from the dead.

Love the cart with the 2 welders on it.

Is there anything holding the welders on the cart?

I know how things are in my shop. If there is a way to knock something expensive to the floor, I'm gonna figure out how to do it.

I really would hate to see one of those welders fall to the floor and make an expensive sound.

No 30% coupon this year? Not even a 25% as of right now. That’s a bummer!

No sir, but I am gonna install some quick pins on them after I get done with some modifications. I use the the Lincoln a lot off my truck and need it easy to remove.

I just picked up the 40 piece metric tap and die set. I sheared a rusty little bolt on the gas tank filler neck cover yesterday doing the diff breather relocation. Had no issue tapping a new M5 0.80 thread. For $17 it seems like a pretty good deal.

Silver xtra-cab,old man emu 3 inch lift, 2016 wheels, arb front bumper, receiver hitch, Automatic transmission cooler, tundra front calipers, new frame.
I was doing the front axles and broke my 3/4 inch ratchet trying to remove the axle nut, 36mm? and I was using my floor jack handle for leverage anyway went to harbor freight and got the behest breaker bar they had and it broke like it was made of cheese! ended up buying a pretty neat telescoping lug wrench that has a bent head instead of a 2 piece, seems a lot less likely to shear off and its under $12. Some of those Harbor freight tools aren't bad at al, but some of them are the worst, its hit and miss for sure.

Anyone here have experience using the HF “Bauer” brand? I was thinking of picking up one of the impact drivers, and then Lowe’s listed a Craftsman for $10 cheaper, but I’m not able to get their today so not sure if I can get the Craftsman or not.

My coworker used a Bauer 1/4” hex impact and it worked great. Little funky smelling, but plenty of power.

I love my Hercules. Plenty of power. Some of the guys I work with have Bauer’s and they have plenty of power

I have a Hercules 1/4” impact driver and I love it. Also have the Hercules job site blower which is nice.

Milwaukee has the M18 1/4” brushless impact driver on sale at Home Depot for $99 with battery and charger so check that out as well.

I got around to opening the Central machinery hydraulic feed band saw. Quality seems pretty good but there are a couple small things. First of all it cuts beautifully and it is so quiet compared to the saws I've been using (neighbors will be happy). I played around with some scrap and was able to make some perfect, consistent 45 degree cuts which my previous saw was pretty much incapable of. My biggest gripe is how chincy the miter degree meter is. I plan to use my angle finder and just grind in some permanent marks on the table for 90 and 45 degrees.

Not really gripes but things to note. The miter clamp requires a wrench to adjust instead of having a knob. I plan on just welding a couple cheap sockets together and hanging them on the machine.

The cutting surface is also pretty low but that just means you dont need to lift your stock as high.

Pricey tool but considerably cheaper than its competition and seems like it should serve me for a long time.

Would've gladly spent 10 bucks more on a 900 dollar tool and had something better than this. They didn't even mount it straight...
    20191201_161946.jpg
Cutting surface is low but I easily cut down my stock roller to work with the saw.

Also, cutting fluid is a little harder to find than I thought. Not sure if HF carrys it but home depot didnt have any. Ordered a couple gallons off Amazon.

Anyone have the Chicago Electric Rotary Tumbler by chance?
I weigh the barrels and everything before I get it going, but I just can't seem to get them to last for more than a few hours. The motor always ends up making horrendous noises. I'm on my 3rd one now, anyone have a good experience with them?
