    Fwiw when I was looking at fenders to replace mine, they were all listed as being compatible with 1995.5 - 2000 or 2001 - 2004

    I doubt he went out and bought all those just for that job. Really all you need to do the LBJs is basic hand tools, a pitman puller and a torque wrench.

    Unless you live in the rust belt, then you might need a few more I imagine

    Definitely more than $1000 worth of tools, but @eon_blue is correct, already had them prior to this job (aside from the puller set). Small price to pay for the confidence of knowing that the LBJ's will be good to go for another few years. It's hard to put a price on reliability...
