yes thats very very minimal. and your heads will warp before you block does. if your block is warped you are pretty much screwed. IMO

what year is your truck and how many miles?

 

2007 only running on 60k .....
Whats happened on mine truck , it's normally before , till one time , i try to hydrogen and carbon removal on Sep , one day , when i check my water tank , i found the water was less then the high line ... then i add on , then driver , recheck the water keep less .... so i check and found the bubble .... damm...

have you replaced anything? water pump or thermostat? is it overheating? i would try the cheapest first.
defiantly do a coolant flush and get out all the air bubbles

 

Water pump replace on 55K , no any overheating ... temperature always keep on 88-90Degree C。
can't find any wtaer leak from my engine or water pipe , water pump ....
Only one thing i do was hydrogen and carbon removal on Sep... after that i start to found my water will be less.... and bubble comeup !!

 

Here is my situation now~
When start can't see any bubble , but after Water temperature 80 degrees C , the bubble show up .....

 

i say you just bleed the system for any air bubbles. purge it.

 

But at same time , my reservoir water will decrease from high to low .....
it's never happened even i replace the water pump on 55K ...

 

you said you performed a carbon test in your radiator?
positive carbon is inside you cooling system?

 

Not yet , buy the test already , wait for delivered.....

 

How would resurfacing the heads have any impact on the chain? Wouldn't the chain tensioners make up for any small difference there is?

 

I resurfaced my heads in case there was any warpage
I didnt wanna do this whole thing and later on find out it was a waste bc my heads are warped and I didnt resurface.

Can these motors be bored over? I vaguely recall Sth about a cylinder sleeve making that impossible but not sure if I got motor merge lol
