OVTune Tactrix cable kit

I never ended up using this on my truck and it has been just sitting on my nightstand collecting dust since I first got it. You will need to acquire a license for your truck in order to be able to use the software which can be acquired by Mat @ OVTune.

Call me ignorant or lazy I guess since I don't feel like using the search function. Can you please let me know the steps of what I would need to do to tune the truck with this cable?

 

I ordered mine a couple weeks ago. If I had seen this, I would have snagged this, then, bought another lic.
Id place it in the gen specific sections. I dont peruse this section often.....

 

This is just the cable, correct? Does it include anything else that's needed for the OV tune, minus the license, that one would otherwise have to pay for?

 

You need the cable.
Download software(OVTune site).
Purchase license, and register your laptop

 

I’m confused. Is this more than the cable? You can get the cable for 169.

 

It also includes some OVTune licensing rights you don't get if you bring your own cable. There's another thread around here somewhere where I asked the same question and then I contacted OVTune and got an answer and posted it.
