Can you part with any of the wire harness?
I need wiring from the 26-pin BN7 connector inside the cab, out to and including the female 7-pin on the elocker pigtail.

How about a manual swap package?
Trans, shifter, shift boot, ECU, clutch pedal, wiring harness, et al.
@Madjik_Man and I can fight over it.

I’ve been told that since mine is an ‘04 that I have to have a specific ‘04 ECU and wiring harness. So you can have those :)

Oooo I have a good one for you...

I'm looking for the cable in the passenger seat that attaches the tilt handle to the forward/back handle. Mine is broken so I have to do two steps (tilt seat forward with handle THEN scoot seat forward with other handle) in order to get people/things in and out of the passenger side of the truck. It's relatively easy to pull out of the seat (I've done it already with mine).

Let me know if you have that and how much shipped to 05445. Thanks!

Is that why someone in FL wants to buy my old 2001 off Craigslist and drive it from VT to FL to do a DC manual swap? He mentioned something about the ECU when we emailed a few times.

BTW, unrelated, you're still quoted in my sig...

I am in the beginning throes of learning about the swap. But a highly respected CO master toyota tech (TW member) chatted me up about it. Seems like the ECU is year specific, but also with '04s it includes wiring harnesses as well.

And I'm honored to still be in your sig :)

Good luck with the swap. I'm trying to keep living up to that name with this 1KZ-TE Taco (even though I bought the truck with the engine already swapped in).

Unrelated- my '04 has DRLs and I hate them. Miss the simplicity of the '01 headlight wiring diagram. I disabled them but the ground-switched headlight harness from my old truck still doesn't work with that system.

I recently bought this '04 and really haven't gotten into it. The original owner didn't do much to it but the guy I bought it from (second owner - who owned it for 8 months) did a lot of "bro" things to it.

Including HIDs. Which are kind of nice to sit behind, if I'm honest. No DRLs but oddly enough if I leave the headlights in the "on" position, they will turn on/off with the ignition. Is that an 01-04 thing? Never had it in my '98

edit - oh crap, didn't realize this was a part out thread. Sorry, i can move this convo elsehwere
