We play K-State next Thursday... Not very convienent for travel

 

Yeah I posted that at half time. Second half not so great. But its good to see SMU being competitive again.

 

SMU played em close up until there was about 8:30-9:00 left in the game.

 

We pick all of the top 25 so when a top 25 team plays on Thurs or Friday, we're stuck with picking week day games.

No excuses... I should pay better attention.

 

We do the Yahoo Picks, and SEC games. Yet they don't put Thursday or Friday games in it.

Mike Bobo needs to go. Our offense is anemic. We have a decent QB, a decent RB, and a couple good receivers. Seems we can move the ball fairly well...until we get to around the 35. I've been sayin it for 2 years now, but Bobo is a terrible offensive coordinator. I don't expect Richt to be around after this year, even though I don't think it's entirely his fault.

The Bama/Arkansas game was good. Very good win for the Elephants.

AUBURN!

Cam Newton looked pretty good tonight, and our defense stepped it up.
I'm just now getting home.

 

Just got in from the LSU game. Tailgating from 9 am till a 8 pm kickoff makes for a long ass day. Awesome defense tonight, but subpar offense that I'm still not happy about watching play. Not going to win many SEC games until our offense is fixed. Peterson played great and got another punt return for a TD.

Arkansas is legit, they had that game won and gave it away. The SEC West is far superior to the SEC East this year. My biggest concerns on our schedule are now Bama & Ark.

 

First of all... ROLL TIDE! My Auburn buddy told me that now I know what it's like to be an Auburn fan. Game might end up OK, but you go through a couple heart-attacks and a stroke getting to the end.

Somebody should have told your team.

Bama scheduled a home and home with UCLA in 2000/2001. We went 0-2. It really sucked. Of course... we weren't national title contenders (in our own minds) at the time.

Oh well...

Mallet ain't all he's cracked up to be. Looked like a clear Heisman winner in the first half. Disappeared in the second. Also, if you can't throw the ball out of bounds, you don't deserve to be in the running.

I'll admit, I only saw about 1.5 quarters of the La. State game, but after what I saw today from all three teams, you'll lose both games. Jefferson isn't a good QB.

 

Wow. I knew our offense was struggling but yesterday they out right sucked ass. still not to worried about the defense. They spent a lot of time on the field. At one point I thought if our offense never got the ball again we might have had a chance.

On to next week. All hope is not lost. blO U has given up over 400 yrds on defense the last 2 weeks. If Texas can get half that they will have a chance. Our D under coach Boom will be fine and looking for blood.
But win or lose in the game and we still come out ahead. sooners still have to go back to oklahomo..
