Nah the tundra design is lame too, I'd just get a fabbed housing for the LC 9.5 and outers. You get a centered housing, full float and common Toyota parts

 

Also an option. We’ll see what abuse this diff can take. I’ve got 3 spare thirds to grenade before I really worry about it

 

The thirds don't worry me a whole lot, the axle shafts usually snap or strip in the spiders. But the tube and flange bend and kill bearings and seals. They're annoying/expensive to change for such light duty axle.

 

I haven’t killed one yet. Time will tell. I’ve got a lot more to finish before I worry about axle upgrades.

 

That's partly why I thought it was funny that you're fussing about brakes. Like if you keep doing more stuff you'll never get it done. I know what that's like. There's a saying, don't get it right, get it running. It doesn't mean do things sloppy or wrong, but it means get it usable because there's great motivation to tack on all the extra BS later.

 

Ultimately this axles ending up under the 2. The disk brakes are just because the 02 needs some tlc and it’s getting my axles with be backing plates. Might as well make mine disk brakes. Then once it’s time it’ll end up under be 02 and I’ll have a/e I decide on.

Yup. Lobster, chicken, squid, mussels, clams, shrimp, and some other things I’m forgetting. Has Saffron too, can’t believe how expensive that stuff is.

 

You like the all meat Shanghai skinny lumpia, or the veggie meat mixed fat lumpia?

 

All meat is what my friends wife makes. She did a small batch with some veggies and it was good too tho.
