Sorry if this has been discussed, but I went through 12 pages and decided just to ask. For those of you with a 1.5 AAL, did you leave in or remove the factory overload?

Just bought my set with the 1 in block for the time being until I do dakers. Heading out to eibach in 2 weeks for them to install too can’t wait. Been watching this setup for months and compared to all the research put into it this is the best option out there for the money and quality. Just my 2 cents

No, some members like to preassemble prior. I reused my top hats but have used the KYB mounts on my 4Runner.

I did the lowest notch as I don’t have any heavy bumpers or winches on my front end

This might be a stupid question but do the top hats need to be oriented with the 3 studs in exactly the right position during assembly or can they be adjusted after they’re assembled?

I think if you are adding the block now you could go second clip. We can discuss when you arrive.

So I’m looking at this kit but I still can’t really get a clear answer on something.

I have 285’s and need to clear them. Would this kit be sufficient? I’d love to get this kit especially because I live right down the freeway from Eibach and I’d like to support them, but I just don’t know if this kit will work for my truck.

What’s your wheel offset and do you do a lot of off-roading? If you have an aggressive offset and/or off-road you will more than likely need a CMC. That’s not just not specific to this kit, either. Just what you have to do to run a 285 on these trucks.

I do light off-roading, mainly just dirt roads and trails for fishing and hiking. I use the Tacoma TRD Pro wheels, so its a +13 offset.

Might be OK without a CMC then. Just get a good alignment and good chance you maybe good to go.
