@Causcg I'm about 6 4 as well. How much more headroom do you have compared to the non-powered seats?

Edit to add: congrat! can't wait to get one.... hopefully soon. Those damn dealers in SoCal are robbers!!!

Raptor 4" oval rails, OEM door sill protectors, totally debadged, OEM mud guards, OEM bed mat, OEM S/S tail pipe extension, BDT tailgate letters, Weather Tech sun screen.
I got a decent (but not great) deal on my 2020 TRD OR DCSB. I paid $35,063.02 total (including sales tax and doc fees). The sticker on the truck was $35,389 (before sales tax and doc fees). The truck had no packages except for all-weather mats which was what I wanted. I bought the first TRD OR DCSB the dealer received (10-16-19). They did give me a good trade-in for my 2016 SR5 at $25,000 so I paid $10,063.02 difference and drove home. My 16' was bought in December 2015 and I was glad to get rid of it as I had multiple TSB's performed on the truck. So far so good on the 2020. I have since added Raptor rails, mud guards, door sill protectors, bed mat, exhaust cover, tailgate letters, and a TRD skid plate. All this has added another $973.62 to the cost so now I have $36,000 and change in the vehicle...more than I wanted to have. Some of you appear to have done much better than me but I wanted one that had not sat on the lot and no one else had driven. It came in the day before I bought it and it had 4 miles on the clock. I could have gotten a great deal on a similar TRD OR 2019.

P.S. I love the power seat and the power sliding rear window.

I can’t really say, I know that I have about 3 inches of headroom now though when I lower the seat all the way. The most important to me was lowering the seat prevented me from sliding the seat all the way back to be comfortable. Freed up room for people to sit behind me. So I pulled the trigger and finally have a taco! Good luck getting yours bro! I just left San Diego last year and know exactly what ya mean!

I just purchased a 2020 Off Road with a manual transmission, tonneau cover, LED's, and predator steps. The list price was 38,600. I paid 34,500 plus tax and tags. I like the truck very much!

I am in NY. That price included a $750 rebate, so I suppose we could consider the actual price to be 35,250. That was the number off of which NY sales tax was collected. I agree, it was a solid deal for a great truck! Although my discount it is quite similar to some of the other deals being described above. It was also the only manual transmission Taco on the lot, so perhaps they were motivated to move it? Funny thing, it was not in the front of the store with many, if not all, of the new Tacomas but was in their "back lot" a few hundred yards away...

    2020 Cement TRD Off Road
    Base Price - $36,365
    Technology Package - $770
All Weather Floor Liner & Door Sill Protector - $248
    Mudguards - $129
    Bed Light - $149
Delivery and Processing Fee - $1,130
Total Price Listed on Window Sticker - $39,391

The next bit of numbers is from a hand written paper with calculations after my first visit. (I did not buy day one)

Total Price Listed on Window Sticker - $39,391
Subtracted 2207 because the truck was in inventory
Subtracted 1800 (this was claimed to be an additional discount because I kept trying to get the number down - it's probably dealer BS to make me feel better but they subtracted it nonetheless)
Subtracted $1000 for the November Incentive
This brought me down to $34,384

I had a 2011 Hyundai Sonata GLS with 130,000 miles and a manual transmission. KBB had the trade in value between 1000 and 1800 for fair condition. They offered $800 and through me being a pain in the ass and showing them my phone got them to give me $1400 for the trade. (I really made out here btw - the Hyundai had a number of issues that I needed fixed to pass inspection)

That brings the price down to $32,984
Plus tax and tags my out the door price day one was $35,331.

I left that night and really instilled in them the thought that the number was still too high. They said that's the best they could do and I said ok.

They called me a couple times the next day a couple times. I said I was thinking about it but undecided.

They asked me what they could do.

I told them to beat 3.49 for 60 months financing and include the blackout package.

They did and I'm the proud owner of my first truck and first brand new vehicle.

    Located in central PA

Lancaster Toyota - Overall a good experience - don't let them wash your truck though. Their car wash scuffs the plastic fender pieces.

Thank You! I'm shopping a few dealers closer to me presently, Lancaster is about 40 miles from me. Getting fair prices on the new truck, but everybody wants to low ball me on my trade (2016 TRD Sport Crew Cab with JBL and Moonroof 9000 miles). I have it down to a $500 difference between what they want and what I'm willing to pay. Sadly most of them just don't get it. I'm not gonna let that truck go for one cent less than what I want for it.

I will never, ever allow a dealer to detail a new vehicle for me. Too many bad experiences with scratched mirrors ect. I always tell them when I order. I don't care if it is delivered covered in pig shit and snot. Don't Touch it!

I find it ironic that the salesman will talk up the high resale value as a perk of buying a Toyota then try to low ball the trade value on one.

They are a for-profit company. It has always been better off to sell your truck privately and then use that money for down on a new truck. Middlemen take a percentage, always will.

My 2020 Off-Road double cab cost me $33,999 OTD (not counting state specific stuff like tax/title/license.) Not bad considering it had $1k worth of add-ons and zero incentives (October 2019 purchase) Plus 80% of the inventory was 2019s, so I'm surprised they worked with me that much on the 2020. They probably knew a neon blue truck with a manual trans was a hard sell and wanted rid of it.

2020 silver metallic double cab TRD Off Road MT with LED headlight, all weather mats/door sill, bed lamp upgrades...$32,350 + tax and fees. Traded my CRV in for $13,300, put a little cash down, walked out owing $19,000. Had a 2004 access cab MT but had to get rid of it for the CRV when I had kids. Happy to be back in a Tacoma!

The dealers here in DFW are out of control. I went to several dealerships, they all have $1200 to $1500 in add-ons on every truck. Pin stripes, wheel locks, paint protect film, door edge guards, window tint, etc. Add that to the port installed accessories and the markup approaches 3 grand over the factory sticker. What a rip-off. They get away with it because every dealer in the metroplex does it.

I ended up driving 100 miles to Paris Texas (small town) where the dealership didn't add any crap to the truck. The truck I bought still had port installed running boards, mud guards, blackout package and floor mats. At least they are things I wanted. I'll tint the windows myself.

Anyways, I got the truck for invoice (per kbb.com) and an additional $1000 rebate to boot. 2020 SSM V6/Auto TRD OR 4X4.
