Hmm. I don't have the lines. I had to use zip ties and hot glue to get mine oriented properly. Looks like shit if you look close enough.... But I got a front camera where I didn't before /shrug.

So, it is time to pull the trigger on this one. Have been putting it off, but crested a ramp in a garage the other day, blind as a bat, to find the car in front of me stopped half way down the ramp to dig for a parking card. Only luck had her stopped just far enough ahead to get a glimpse of her roof as I crept forward, started to crest over, and stop before my bumper found its way into her trunk. There was not another car in front of her as I observed as I was making my turn, and she appeared to be continuing down the ramp. I did not expect to lose all view of her car, but I did. Stupid place to stop (middle of the ramp), but would have been 100% my fault.

I'm ordering the Natika camera from Amazon.

Is the kit I want the "full kit - harness kit" (no switch and no camera)? I do not want to run anytime backup camera. No need. I want rear camera on when in reverse, and the front camera on anytime. I want to power relay through the switchpro (SPST).

Truck in Reverse: Backup Camera ON

Truck in Drive / Switchpro Switch OFF: No backup camera available / no front view camera.

Truck in Drive / Switchpro switch ON: Anytime front camera on.

Anything else needed? I'm going cross eyed trying to read through 40 pages of diodes, wires, cutting, switches., etc., and figure this out.

His cyber monday sale and this almost unfortunate incident says it is time to get off my ass and do this.

I have to wait for the 2020 kit to release so couldn’t take advantage of the deal but it’s a great price for the 2016-2019 crew!!

Those who installed the nav override later, was it as simple as removing pin 17 from the harness and inserting the new override wiring in its place?

Got my kit with nav override. It also came with an extra small switch and cable labeled NAV. I wasn’t aware of the need for an additional switch for the nav override. I’m thinking I can wire it without the switch but note sure.

I got the kit without the override months ago then decided to get the override last week. It didn't come with instructions and there's none on the site. A search of this or the other thread didn't turn up any pictures, but I did see a diagram and mentions of splicing the switch into pin 17, the speed sensor wire. But the diagrams also mentioned cutting pin 15, the parking brake sensor wire. I'm guessing I only need to replace pin 17 but I'm not 100% sure; I've had to stop the truck, put it in P, then pull the parking brake to get Entune to turn babysitter mode off.

Would you mind taking a picture of the whole harness to which that override is connected, with a close up on the plugs? I'd appreciate it!

I wired my anytime backup camera kit this past weekend but for some reason the backlight for the switch does not illuminate...do I need to connect the blue and grey wires?

I just installed mine and have the same problem. The switch functions properly: it toggles to the appropriate camera when that position is pushed. With mine I also noticed that both the amber lights illuminate when I toggle to the front camera and only the rear amber light illuminates when it is toggled to the rear camera position.

Is it a bad switch or did I loosen a wire when I was cramming everything back together?

Outside of this it works great and I'm stoked to start using it.

I think this lighting scheme is the norm.... it's subject to the switch design.

So the most recent version of the switch no longer has the backlight as well?

I'm not sure about 'most recent'... mine's been in for about a year now? I'll check the lighting features i have tomorrow. Mine wasn't from the kit; got mine from AOB. But... I do have one from the kit in my toolbox waiting for a swap (or the steering wheel module). It's been in the toolbox for maybe two months?

I was just combing over anytimebackupcamera website and just noticed that they mention: "In our current switches the blue and grey wires are for the switch backlight".

    Screen Shot 2019-12-08 at 10.36.48 PM.jpg

My fault for missing this. Now I just need to figure out where wire them...
